Juki Corporation is widely regarded as the gold standard in the industrial sewing machine industry. The brand’s rich history dates back to 1938 when a group of machinery manufacturers in Tokyo formed the Tokyo Juki Manufacturers Association. While they initially produced home sewing machines in 1947, Juki launched its first industrial sewing machine in 1953, laying the foundation for a global manufacturing empire. Over the decades, Juki became synonymous with pioneering technology, including the development of the first rotary needle thread take-up system in 1954 and introducing automatic thread trimmers to the broader market. In 1981, Juki was awarded the prestigious Deming Prize for outstanding quality control in manufacturing. Their pivotal acquisition of the legendary American heavy-duty brand Union Special in 1988 further cemented their dominance in specialized, heavy-material industrial applications
